The Conference was held on 05th – 07th April 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the theme “Educational Innovations: The Future of Education”. ICEDU 2019 was chaired by Prof. Eugene P. Sheehan (Dean, Professor of Psychological Sciences College of Education and Behavioral Sciences University of Northern Colorado, USA).
The opening remarks of ICEDU 2019 were made by Conference Chair Prof. Eugene P. Sheehan (Dean, Professor of Psychological Sciences College of Education and Behavioral Sciences University of Northern Colorado, USA) together with Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Managing Director, The International Institute of Knowledge Management).
The conference partners (Hosting and Academic partners) were especially recognized during the inauguration for their immense support and collaboration throughout the conference. The token of appreciation to partners was delivered by Mr. Isanka Isanka P. Gamage (Managing Director, The International Institute of Knowledge Management) together with the Conference Chair Prof. Eugene P. Sheehan (Dean, Professor of Psychological Sciences College of Education and Behavioral Sciences University of Northern Colorado, USA).
Keynote forum was one of the most significant moments during the Conference and it was enlightened by two keynote speeches. The first keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Piet Kommers (Professor of UNESCO Learning Technologies, The Netherlands) on the topic “ICT in Education: Societal Transformation and Citizens’ Life-Long Learning”. Secondly, the speech was delivered by Dr. Zhang Wenxin (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Normal University, China) on the topic “Healthy Context Paradox in the Association between Peer Victimization and Children’s Adjustment and Implications for Intervention”.

ICEDU 2019 was comprised of five (05) parallel Round Table Discussions and participants were requested to attend according to their interest. Round Table Discussions organized in ICEDU 2019 provided a great platform for delegates to discuss and share their insights on the trends, issues, possible solutions to prevailing concerns in the field of education. WORKSHOP ON SCHOLARLY PUBLICATIONS
A workshop on Scholarly Publications was facilitated by Dr. Fida Sanjakdar (Monash University, Australia). The Perspective of the publication workshop was to assist researchers who write full papers with the aim of publishing in a reputable journal or in a reputable proceeding. Through this publication workshop the facilitator was able to disseminate knowledge on writing scientific papers and scholarly publications for future researchers. All conference participants were delighted and graced by this opportunity.
CONFERENCE CHAIR WORKSHOP
A workshop was arranged by the Conference Chair Prof. Eugene P. Sheehan to discuss the outcome of the Conference. Moreover, the plans for ICEDU 2020 was discussed during the workshop while providing an opportunity for participants to share their views and voice their suggestions in terms of the conference theme, venue, dates, featured events and any other applicable areas. The workshop provided an insight to deliver the future conferences in a fruitful way with the outputs received by the Conference Chair, Participants and Organizers.
Publication in Progress
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book with ISBN 978-955-3605-28-3. All full papers sent for conference proceedings will be accepted through a double blind review process and will be published electronically with ISSN 2424-6700 in proceedings with a DOI number. We will submit the proceedings for possible indexing in Thomson Reuters, SCOPUS and Google scholar.
