The 6th International Conference on Education (ICEDU 2020), was held on 03rd – 05th April as an online conference due to the COVID 19 global pandemic under the theme “The New Face of Education: Innovation in Practice”. The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with the University of Northern Colorado, USA, Faculty of Education Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia as the hosting partners while Ajman University, UAE Monash University, Australia Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Kasetsart University, Thailand Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Indonesia Bulacan State University, Philippines Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC), United Kingdom Association of Southeast Asia Teacher Education Network (AsTEN) and Lincoln University, New Zealand were the academic partners. Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau as the Strategic Partner for this year’s conference.
ICEDU 2020 covered a range of disciplinary areas such as policy and law, education services, technology, career and employment opportunities, innovations and challenges, to name a few along with the speeches from renowned speakers, best presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities. Moreover, the conference welcomed 130+ participants from 30+ countries around the world.
INAUGURATION CEREMONY
The opening remarks of ICEDU 2020 were made by the Conference Chair Professor Eugene Sheehan (Dean, Professor of Psychological Sciences College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, University of Northern Colorado, USA) together with Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Conference Convener/Managing Director, The International Institute of Knowledge Management).

Special Features of ICEDU 2020
WORKSHOP ON SCHOLARLY PUBLICATIONS
Through the publication workshop, it was intended to disseminate knowledge on writing scientific papers and scholarly publications to assist future researchers. The workshop was moderated by Dr. Fida Sanjakdar, Monash University, Australia. The Perspective of the publication workshop was to assist researchers who write full papers with the aim of publishing in a reputable journal or in a reputable proceeding. Through this publication workshop, the facilitator was able to disseminate knowledge on writing scientific papers and scholarly publications for future researchers. All conference participants were delighted and graced by this opportunity.
